National leaders including Modi and Rahul Gandhi to Kerala for intensive campaigning ahead of elections

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: National leaders are arriving in Kerala to campaign for various political fronts. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi will be campaigning on the 15th. Rahul will kick off his campaign by participating in a constitution protection rally in Kozhikode that evening. Modi will campaign in the Attingal, Alathur and Thrissur constituencies.

For the UDF, Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Sivakumar will arrive in Thiruvananthapuram on the 16th and later campaign in Kannur that afternoon. Kanhaiya Kumar will also arrive in the state on the 18th. Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and Sachin Pilot will also follow suit.

For the NDA, Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Pramod Sawant and Anurag Singh Thakur will speak in Kozhikode, Purushottam Rupala and Shivraj Singh Chauhan in Alappuzha, Meenakshi Lekhi in Wayanad, Idukki and Ernakulam and Tamil Nadu BJP President Annamalai in Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, and Pathanamthitta constituencies. BJP President JP Nadda, Amit Shah and Rajnath Singh are also scheduled to come.

Sitaram Yechury, the CPM General Secretary, will campaign for the LDF from the 16th to the 21st. He will address public meetings in Kasaragod, Kannur, Vadakara, Kozhikode, Palakkad, Alathur, Chalakudy, Pathanamthitta, Alappuzha, Kollam, Attingal and Thiruvananthapuram. PB member Prakash Karat and Subhashini Ali will participate in the program from the 15th to the 22nd. Brenda Karat's campaign will start in Kannur on the 15th and conclude in Pathanamthitta on the 22nd. Tapan Sen, a central secretariat member, and Viju Krishnan will also join on the 16th, 17th and 18th.
