Janhvi Kapoor confirms dating grandson of former CM, wears necklace with his nickname

Janhvi Kapoor, daughter of actress Sreedevi and producer Boney Kapoor, is one of the most popular young actresses in Bollywood. It was after Sreedevi's death, that the actor started to become active in the film industry. With her increasing popularity, gossips regarding Janhvi go like wildfire on the internet. The recent gossip was related to Shikhar Pahariya, the grandson of former Maharashtra Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde, and the actress. Earlier, there were reports that the two were seeing each other. Recent developments confirm this gossip.

The other day, Janhvi came for the screening of Boney Kapoor's new film Maidan, in Mumbai. Janhvi arrived with her father and brother Arjun Kapoor and looked stunning in a white pantsuit. She attended the function wearing a necklace with Shikhar's name on it. The customized necklace had his nickname 'Shikhu' on it.

Recently, in an interview show 'Koffee with Karan' Jhanvi accidentally revealed about Shikhar by naming him as one of the first three people on her speed dial. She said, "Papa, Khushu and Shiku" and immediately realized her slip-up.

An interview of Boney Kapoor could be read along the same lines. Boney spoke about his relationship with Shikhar and expressed his fondness for him. "I love him (Shikhar) and in fact, in between a couple of years back Janhvi was not seeing him but I was still friendly to him. I was convinced he can never be an ex. He’ll be around. When any person is there for you in any capacity whether it’s for me, whether it’s for Janhvi, whether it’s for Arjun, he is friendly to all. So I feel we’re blessed to have somebody like him in our set up," Boney said.
