Murderer commits suicide after stabbing lover and burning her body; murdered two weeks before wedding

PALAKKAD: The incident where the burnt body of a young woman was found on the Kodumunda coastal road has been found to be a murder. Thrithala Pattithara Kanganath Parambil Priviya (30) was killed. The incident happened when she was going to work in the morning.

Santhosh, a native of Thrithala, is the one who killed the woman. He took his own life after committing the murder. Priviya was divorced. There are reports that Priviya got close to Santosh after the divorce.

Santhosh wanted to get married, but Priviya backed out of the relationship later. Another marriage was arranged for the girl. The wedding was supposed to take place on the 29th. It is reported that it is this grudge that may have led to the murder.

Priviya is an employee of a private hospital. In the morning, the burnt body was found on the road next to the field. The grass around it was found burned. The woman's scooter was also found nearby. It is hinted that the woman was stabbed to death and her body was burnt. The knife has been found.

Police suspected that it was a murder from the beginning itself. After identifying the deceased, it was found that it was Santosh who committed the murder and that he had committed suicide. Priviya's body was shifted to the hospital for post-mortem.
