Rain to intensify in these two districts in coming hours; strong winds are also likely

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has warned that summer rains will continue in the state. It said that isolated places in Thiruvananthapuram and Kollam districts are likely to receive light to moderate rain accompanied by thunderstorms and strong winds blowing at a speed of up to 40 kmph in the next three hours.

According to the IMD, various parts of the state will continue to receive rain for the next five days. It has also declared yellow alerts in various districts. These districts are likely to receive heavy rainfall in the next five days.
