THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma revealed that a section of Congress leaders in Kerala had discussed about joining the NDA. He said that a discussion took place regarding the formation of a regional party to cooperate with the NDA and that the discussion was going on till three months ago. Later it was decided not to do it for the Lok Sabha elections. He also stated that such discussions will continue for the assembly elections.

Himanta Biswa Sarma said that CPM and Congress competing against each other in Kerala is a drama. Both parties are in love in Delhi. Love in Bengal and Tamil Nadu. Playing drama of competition only in Kerala. The Chief Minister of Assam accused that this was to deceive the people. He was speaking at a roadshow in Wandoor for the campaign of NDA candidate K Surendran in Wayanad.

Political change in Kerala is not far away, it will happen soon. The BJP government will come to power in Kerala in 2026 by packing up the Congress and the Communists. Before 2016, no one would have said that a BJP government will come to power in Assam. Assam is home to a 36 percent Muslim community. BJP came to power there twice and that too with more than 100 seats. Himanta Biswa Sarma added that BJP is inclusive and stands for the development of all.
