Man arrested for allegedly stealing expensive mobile phones, other valuables across different districts

ALAPPUZHA: Man accused of thefts and hiding in police station limits of various districts was arrested in Enchakkal in Thiruvananthapuram. The arrested has been identifed as Sinaj (50) of Arifa Manzil in Lajnath Ward.

The main modus operandi of the accused is to steal expensive mobile phones from various places in the state, break windows of parked cars and steal valuables from inside.

He was arrested in a case registered by Alappuzha North Police. Police in various districts are looking for him. There are cases in places like Kottayam, Alappuzha, Thiruvananthapuram and Ernakulam. The accused was nabbed by a team comprising North SHO Sumesh Sudhakaran, SIs Sebastian Chacko, TD Nevin, Mohankumar, Senior CPO Vipin Das and CPO R Shyam led by Alappuzha DySP TB Vijayan. The accused was produced in court and remanded.
