Cameraman of Mathrubhumi News killed in elephant attack while capturing visuals

PALAKKAD: A cameraman of Mathrubhumi News died in an elephant attack. He has been identified as A V Mukesh (34), son of late Unni of Malappuram Parappanangadi Chettippadi and Devi. The elephant attacked him Wednesday morning at Kottekkad in Palakkad while he was capturing visuals.

He was attacked when he was capturing the visuals of the elephants crossing the river. He was immediately rushed to Palakkad District Hospital, but his life could not be saved. The body is kept in the mortuary of Palakkad District Hospital. Mukesh, who had been working in Delhi for a long time, was in the Palakkad Bureau for the past one year. He leaves behind his wife Tisha.
