PATHANAMTHITTA: James, the father of Jesna James, said he suspects two people in the incident where his daughter went missing. James was talking to the media after the court ordered a further probe into the Jesna missing case.
"I suspect that someone endangered my daughter. The evidence that I found during the investigation has been handed over to the court. I have good hope regarding the re-investigation," James said.
"There was no lapse in the CBI investigation. However, there was an attempt at several points to mislead the investigation. I'm still receiving anonymous letters. I've requested the court to maintain the confidentiality of the information I submitted," he added.
Earlier today, the Thiruvananthapuram CJM court ordered a further probe into the Jesna missing case after considering the plea filed by Jesna's father James.
The CBI had earlier submitted a report to the court stating that it was closing the investigation as there was no evidence to prove that Jesna was still alive. Following this, James filed a plea seeking to reject the CBI report and order a reinvestigation. He also produced some evidence, documents and digital evidence, including photographs, found in his private investigation in a sealed envelope in the court. The court ordered a further probe after checking this evidence.
