KANNUR: A dispute regarding a financial transaction resulted in a physical altercation in front of Sreekandapuram Rajiv Gandhi Cooperative Hospital here on Wednesday afternoon. A case has been registered against six people, including a KPCC member. The dispute was between KPCC member Muhammad Blathur, his son, his brother and an Irikkur native man and his son.

Muhammad Blathur's son allegedly owed money to the Irikkur native man's son, which caused the problem. The suo motu case has been registered for public nuisance. Even vehicles had to be stopped due to the major dispute in front of the hospital. The footage of the incident has been released. The police will investigate whether the money transaction itself is the cause of the problem.
