NEW DELHI: Aam Aadmi Party has denied the allegation that Arvind Kejriwal's PA assaulted Swati Maliwal MP. Hitting back at Swati's claims, AAP released a video of Swati Maliwal arguing with security personnel at Kejriwal's house on its X page.
Aam Aadmi Party leader Atishi alleged that Swati colluded with the BJP to malign AAP during election time. "Ever since Arvind Kejriwal got bail the BJP has been rattled. Due to this, BJP hatched a conspiracy, under which Swati Maliwal was sent to Arvind Kejriwal's house on the morning of May 13. They intended to accuse the Chief Minister... but he was not there then, so he was saved," she said.
"In her complaint to the police she said she was assaulted... (but) the video which shows her sitting comfortably and threatening officials... also seen threatening Bibhav Kumar," Atishi said, referring to the released video.

Meanwhile, after the footage came out, Swati Maliwal took to 'X' to say that party attacked her due to pressure from a 'goon'.
"This goon is threatening the party, 'If I get arrested I will reveal all secrets'. That is why he is roaming in Lucknow and everywhere seeking shelter..." Ms Maliwal tweeted.
"Today, under his pressure, the party gave in. To save a goon my character was questioned... no problem, I have been fighting alone for the women of the country, I will fight for myself too," she added.
According to Swati Maliwal, Arvind Kejriwal's PA Bibhav Kumar assaulted her when she came to the CM's residence on May 13. As per Swati's statement to the police, Bibhav Kumar slapped her seven times and kicked her on the chest and stomach. Arvind Kejriwal's residence was later inspected by Delhi Police and forensic experts.
