BHUBANESWAR: Exuding confidence ahead of the fifth phase of Lok Sabha polls, Union Home Minister Amit Shah said that the BJP government under Modi has already crossed 270 seats. "Four phases of the elections are complete and the fifth phase is tomorrow. The PM has crossed 270 in 4 phases. Lalu's party is not getting four seats and Rahul Baba is not getting even 40 seats,' Shah said while addressing the BJP's election rally in Rourkela, Odisha.

"I can confidently say that PM Modi has already won absolute majority by winning 270 seats out of 380 in the first four phases. We are confident of achieving the target of 400. BJP will win Odisha too this time," the minister said.

Meanwhile, Union Home Minister Amit Shah also hit out against the Congress over "Pakistan has atom bombs" remarks made by their leader Mani Shankar Aiyar and said that the Modi government is not scared of the nuclear arsenal the neighbouring country has. He also said that the government will soon reclaim Pakistan-Occupied-Kashmir (POK).
