Popular actor receives unexpected call from Mohanlal during his sister’s wedding

Yesterday was the 64th birthday of Mohanlal. He celebrated his birthday by having cake with his close family. He received birthday wishes from Mammootty, Chief Minister Mr Pinarayi Vijayan and many other famous personalities.

Meanwhile, an article by another news organization written on Mohanlal’s charity work is now going viral. As how the saying goes, “What one hand does should not be known by the other”, Mohanlal is someone who does not want his charity work to be publicized. The article also states that he has helped out many people in many different situations. Despite many of them having told the public about how he helped them, he has never commented on it.

One such person that he helped is Captain Raju. He faced some financial trouble while trying to conduct his sister’s marriage. Despite asking many people to lend him money, he couldn’t get the help he needed. Despite being good friends with Mohanlal, he did not ask him for help. They had stayed together in Chennai at Swami’s Lodge.

Mohanlal somehow got to know about the financial troubles that his friend was facing. Upon which, he called Captain Raju and gave him the money required. When Captain Raju told him that he would pay back the money, Mohanlal replied, “Did I ask you to pay me back?”. Yet, Captain Raju paid back the money. The article also points out that Captain Raju had only informed his close family and friends about the help he had received from Mohanlal.

At the same time, due to it being his birthday, a poster of Mohanlal for the movie 'Empuraan' directed by fellow actor Prithviraj Sukumaran was also released on Facebook and Instagram through his official account. Empuraan is the second part of the 2019 super hit movie Lucifer. The poster was published with the hashtag #KhureshiAbraham. Mohanlal is seen in a completely black attire which is in stark contrast to his completely white attire in Lucifer.

This post was soon filled with birthday wishes and praises for the actor. Mohanlal will be joining back with the team of his next film which is directed by Tharun Moorthy in Thodupuzha. The team including producer Ranjith are also planning to welcome him back with a birthday celebration.
