Kochi girl battling for life with injuries in gun attack at London restaurant

LONDON: In a ghastly incident, three people and a ten-year-old girl were injured in a gun attack in Hackney, London. The incident took place around 10:30 pm on Wednesday inside a restaurant.

Lissel Maria (10), daughter of Vinaya and Ajeesh couple, a native of Gothuruth is among the injured. According to the hospital reports from east London, Lissel’s health is worsening and is in critical condition.

The mainspring that led to the gun violence is being investigated. The Malayali family, settled in Birmingham for the past two years was having dinner at a Turkish restaurant at Kingsland High Street when the violence broke out. More details are awaited in the case. As per reports, no one has been arrested.

Some witnesses who were in the restaurant revealed about the people running off screaming after the violence. At the same time, a manhunt started for a motorcyclist attacker who is purported to have opened fire in the restaurant.
