29-year-old woman hangs self in Kochi after failing to pay loan

KOCHI: A 29-year-old woman was found hanging at her house in Perumbavoor, Kochi. She has been identified as Chandini, wife of Vishnu of Odakkali Puliyambilly Mugal Nedumburath House. She was found hanging last night. Reports said that she had taken a loan from a private micro finance firm. She was supposed to pay the installment of the loan the other day. There were some dues pending also.

Her relatives said that some employees of the finance firm had visited her house on Wednesday. The Kuruppampady police have started an investigation. The body is in the Perumbavoor Taluk Hospital and will be handed over to her relatives after post-mortem.
