God's own people; donations pouring into Chief Minister's distress relief fund

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Assistance from individuals and organizations from various sectors is pouring into the relief fund to help the Wayanad disaster victims. Backward Classes Development Corporation has given one crore rupees. Chairman K Prasad handed over a check of one crore rupees to Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan. SC-ST Development Corporation will give 20 lakhs and Corporation for Christian Converts and the Recommended Communities will give 10 lakhs.

CPM State Committee- 25 lakhs
Mohanlal- 25 lakhs
All India Democratic Women's Association- 35 lakhs
Kerala State Service Pensioners Union- 25 lakhs
Cable TV Operators Association Kerala- 10 lakhs
Manju Warrier Foundation- 5 lakhs

Rajiv Jose, a native of Kollam Mailakkad, Senior Advocate KK Venugopal: Five lakhs each
KSRTC Pensioners Organization: Three lakhs
Kerala State Beverages Corporation Staff Association: Two and a half lakhs
Water Authority Employees Union, CITU: Two lakhs
Actress Navya Nair: One lakhs
Ex-Speaker VM Sudheeran: One month's pension amount (34,000)
Puthan Madathil Rajan Gurukkal: One lakh
Thiruvananthapuram Corporation Mayor Arya Rajendran: One month's honorarium (17,550)
Content Creatives of Kerala (YouTubers Association in Kerala): One and a half Lakh
Archa C. Anil, Madavoor: One lakh
Kerala State Cooperative Agricultural and Rural Development Bank Employees Union (BEFI): 1,41,000
All Kerala CPO Rank Holders, Category No. 537/2022: 1,32,000

VPS Healthcare Chairman Shamsheer Vayalil informed that they will hand over medical essentials worth one crore rupees including essential medicines.
