Lottery ticket taken 10 minutes before draw wins 75 lakhs; seventh bumper prize for Deepam Lottery Agency; who is that lucky winner?

KOZHIKODE: Bumper prize on ticket taken 10 minutes before lottery result. Rakesh, a resident of Naduvannur, and an employee of Amrita College of Engineering, Coimbatore, won the first prize of 75 lakhs in the Sthree Sakthi lottery. The draw was held on Tuesday at three o'clock.

Rakesh called Vinayakrishnan of Deepam Lottery Agency, which operates at the new bus stand in Kozhikode, and asked him to select a lottery ticket of his choice. First prize when the result came out. Vinayakrishnan informed Rakesh immediately after winning the draw. Rakesh reached Kozhikode around 11 am on Wednesday and accepted the lottery ticket. This is the seventh time that a ticket sold from the Deepam lottery has won the first prize.
