KOZHIKODE: PV Anwar MLA has once again alleged that ADGP MR Ajith Kumar is involved in the disappearance of real estate broker Muhammad Attur, commonly known as Mami. Speaking to the media after visiting Mami's family, Anwar claimed there is concrete evidence linking Ajith Kumar to the case, both through direct and indirect involvement.

"I had no prior acquaintance with Mami. Whether he has been killed or is being held captive by criminal gangs is uncertain. If Mami, who had multiple business connections, is still alive, we should at least have some leads," Anwar stated. He further alleged, "Ajith Kumar has played a role, both covertly and overtly, in Mami's disappearance. There is evidence and this will be pursued by the newly formed Crime Branch team."

Anwar expressed confidence in the Crime Branch investigation and urged Mami's family to refrain from pressing for a CBI probe for the time being. "No more political accusations, no more politics. Only a thorough police investigation can provide answers," he added.

Anwar likened Ajith Kumar and Sujit Das to "two sons of the same father," accusing them of working together to obstruct justice.
