THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: K Sudhakaran, president of KPCC, pulled no punches in his severe criticism against Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and the home ministry. While talking in the KPCC-conducted secretariat march, Sudhakaran called Pinarayi Vijayan a ‘monstrous creature’ and said the opposition would not work along with the government if the CM continued in power.

K Sudhakaran:

“This chief minister, who protects the mafia group should resign. In eight years, 1,35,000 rape cases were registered in Kerala. This is the only achievement of the Pinarayi regime. The Chief Minister's policemen are working like slaves. The only things in the world that concern CM is his image, his wealth and his family. Pinarayi Vijayan is the chief minister who is incapable of controlling the police. If he does not resign, the people of Kerala will come forward to kick him out. He is a monstrous creature with no understanding of people’s feelings.”

V D Satheesan:

"Secretariat North Block is home to gold smugglers and gold-cracking gangs. While one commissioner was busy creating a ruckus in Thrissur Pooram, Pinarayi Vijayan remained silent. The chief minister should henceforth be addressed as ‘Pooram Kalaki Vijayan’ (the man who ruined the Thrissur Pooram)."
