'Don't I look like Kulappulli Appan now?' Hibi Eden shares latest information about Uma Thomas

Hibi Eden MP has shared the latest information about Uma Thomas MLA who is undergoing treatment after sustaining serious injuries in an accident in Kochi. Taking to his Facebook pages, Hibi wrote that it is heartening to see that wounds and bruises have not affected Uma Thomas' mind.

'Visited Umachechi today. This was the first time I saw her in person after she met with the accident. It is heartening to see that injuries and bruises have not affected her mind. Chechi will return with even more energy. The prayers of the Malayali community from all over the world have been answered.

Pointing to a slight issue with her eye, Chechi jokingly asked, ‘Don’t I look like Kulappulli Appan (the villainous character played by the late actor Narendra Prasad in the blockbuster Malayalam film 'Aaram Thampuran')now?’ The humour in her words was remarkable. I observed her with great curiosity. Such an incredible positive energy! The conversation was filled with light-hearted anecdotes, concerns about matters in the constituency, and more. Even after leaving the hospital, I could still feel her vibrant energy lingering with me. Perhaps it was this inner strength that helped her to recover so quickly from such a major accident.

Since the day of the accident, I have been visiting the hospital daily and communicating with the doctors. I am deeply grateful to Renai Hospital and its doctors for their wholehearted support in aiding Uma Chechi’s recovery.'
