Kerala Awards announced: Dr M.R. Raghava Warrier wins Kerala Jyothi; P.B. Aneesh and Rajashree Warrier bag Kerala Prabha

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The state government has announced the Kerala Awards in connection with Kerala Piravi. Modelled after the Padma Awards, the Kerala Jyothi, Kerala Prabha, and Kerala Sree honours individuals for their outstanding contributions in various fields.

Dr M.R. Raghava Warrier has been chosen for the Kerala Jyothi Award for his lifelong contribution to education. The Kerala Prabha Award will go to P.B. Aneesh for his work in agriculture and Rajashree Warrier for her achievements in the arts.

The Kerala Sree Award will be given to Sasikumar for his contribution to media, Shahal Hassan Musaliar, Chairman of T.K.M. Trust, for his work in education, M.K. Vimal Govind for his success in the startup sector, Jilumol Mariyat Thomas for her social work, and Abhilash Tomy for his accomplishments in sports.

Each year, one person is honoured with the Kerala Jyothi, two with the Kerala Prabha, and five with the Kerala Sree awards.
