THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: BJP leader Kummanam Rajasekharan has said that love jihad continues to take place in Kerala and the unholy nexus among Congress, CPM and Jihadi groups is the reason for this.
Kummanam made this statement endorsing the statement of Syro Malabar Synod that Love Jihad prevails in Kerala and girls from Christian community were being killed and subjected to forced religious conversion.
He also backed the Synod’s statement that strong action should be taken on love jihad complaints.
“Parents of many girls have lodged complaints in police stations across the State regarding love jihad. Even V S Achuthanandan had once called for action against love jihad.
Finance minister Thomas Isaac is rejecting this allegation out of fear or for protecting the accused. The government has been neglecting the concerns of Synod. The reason for this is the soft-stand taken by the government towards Jihadi terror institutions,” Kummanam had said.
Kummanam said that there is reality in the anxiety of Synod that secularism will be destroyed by Love Jihad.
The Congress CPM and Jihadi groups have been denying social justice to Christian-Hindu-Buddhist groups who had migrated to India as refugees.
The resolution passed by Synod brings out a clear picture of the law and order situation in Kerala,” he added.
