COVID-19: Kerala records 3349 cases on Thursday, 3058 cases through contact; 1657 recoveries

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Kerala recorded 3349 cases of COVID-19 on Thursday, health minister KK Shailaja informed. Among the new cases, 3058 persons developed the disease through contact including 266 cases without an identified source of infection. 72 health workers also tested positive for the virus in the last 24 hours.

1657 coronavirus patients tested negative for the virus on Thursday.

Kannur- 276
Alappuzha- 267
Kozhikode- 261
Ernakulam- 227
Kollam- 224
Kottayam- 217
Palakkad- 194
Kasargod- 140
Pathanamthitta- 135
Idukki- 105
Wayanad- 91

The state reported 12 COVID deaths on Thursday.
