THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: M Sivasankar, former principal secretary of the chief minister, has been discharged from the private hospital in Karamana. He was shifted to the medical college hospital. While he was being taken to the ambulance, a minor brawl broke out between the hospital staff and presspersons. A reporter was wounded in the attack. He was discharged following the request of the customs department.
Facilities for shifting to the hospital including an ambulance was made ready outside the hospital. The health condition of Sivasankar, on whom the angiogram test was conducted, is satisfactory now. Hospital authorities have also confirmed that he is not suffering from any heart-related ailments via their medical bulletin. Meanwhile, Sivasankar says that he is feeling severe back pain. Doctors opine that more tests and experts opinion should be taken to understand Sivasankar’s overall health. Considering this situation, customs has also demanded shifting to another hospital.
