Mass copying in five colleges; KTU cancels BTech exams conducted on Friday

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Kerala Technological University (KTU) has cancelled the BTech exams that were held on Friday after discovering that students were involved in mass copying. The irregularities were found in five colleges. The copying took place in the examination halls through mobile phones. It is learnt that the students had exchanged answers through WhatsApp group‌.

The authorities decided to cancel the exams as there was widespread high-level copying. The varsity had conducted BTech third semester mathematics supplementary examination on Friday.
