Kerala records 21,402 COVID-19 cases on Monday, test positivity rate at 24.74; 87 deaths

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The state confirmed 21,402 COVID-19 cases on Monday. Among these, 19,​612 persons developed the disease through contact, including 1610 cases without an identified source of infection. 100 persons, who came from outside the state, tested positive for the virus. 80 health workers contracted the disease on Monday.

99,651 patients tested negative for the virus today. As of now, there are 3,62,315 active cases in the state.

The state confirmed 87 deaths due to the virus on Monday with the toll rising to 6515.
