AK Saseendran named  NCP minister

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The NCP leadership on Tuesday named AK Saseendran as its minister in the second Pinarayi cabinet. Saseendran was elected by the state parliamentary board meeting held yesterday in the presence of national general secretary Praful Patel. Kuttanad MLA Thomas K Thomas will be the leader of the party in the assembly.

Meanwhile, Janata Dal (S) announced K Krishnankutty as its minister and Mathew T Thomas as leader of the party in the assembly.
