THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: With KPCC President K Sudhakaran and Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan entering into an open war of words, the stories of political assassinations in Kannur are becoming an active topic of discussion. Sudhakaran says Pinarayi is the first accused in the murder case of RSS shakha chief Vadikal Ramakrishnan. He also released a copy of the FIR.
Vadikal Ramakrishnan was murdered in 1969 for political reasons. This is the first political murder case in Kannur. Sudhakaran said that the people of Kerala will evaluate who Pinarayi is and that the allegations against him are to cover up the corruption cases the government is facing.
28 Congress workers were killed by the CPM. Sudhakaran said that there were assassination attempts against him three times and that he had grown up under the threat of the CPM. He said he would resign from the KPCC chief position if the murder cases are proved.
