Major gold haul in Nedumbassery; gold concealed in mixi and speaker

KOCHI: A major gold haul at the Kochi Airport in Nedumbassery. Gold worth Rs one crore smuggled from abroad was seized. The customs have taken one into custody. Gold of 1998 grams was seized from a native of Malappuram who came in Qatar Airways.


The gold was concealed in mixi and speaker as pieces. The customs are questioning the passenger.
