Is death of Vismaya a murder? Post mortem report to be decisive, IG Harshitha Attaloori to reach Kollam today KOLLAM: South zone I G Harshitha Attaloori, who is in charge of the investigation in the case of 24-year-old Vismaya committing suicide, will arrive in Kollam today. She will visit Vismaya's house and see her relatives. Evidence will be collected from the house of her husband Kiran Kumar also.

Indications are that the investigation team also has doubts as to whether it is a murder as alleged by Vismaya's family. The post-mortem report will be crucial in this regard. The girl's parents alleged that her daughter was killed and hanged. A decision is likely to be taken today on whether to arraign Kiran parents.

‘The post-mortem report will be examined in detail. Will talk to the doctor who conducted the post-mortem. After that, will be confirmed whether it is a suicide or a murder,’ said IG Harshita Attalloori. We should be able to take a strong stand against dowry, she said while talking to a media.

Meantime, Kiran Kumar arrested has been remanded for two weeks. He was remanded by Sasthamcotta Judicial First Class Magistrate Court. He will be shifted to Kottarakkara sub-jail. The government had yesterday suspended Kiran, assistant motor vehicle inspector of Kollam enforcement wing, from service.
