Kerala records 9,931 COVID-19 cases on Monday, TPR at 11.08; 58 deaths

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The state confirmed 9,931 COVID-19 cases on Monday. Among these, 9,202 persons developed the disease through contact, including 632 cases without an identified source of infection. 31 persons, who came from outside the state, tested positive for the virus. 66 health workers contracted the disease on Monday.

13,206 patients tested negative for the virus today. As of now, there are 1,21,708 active cases in the state.

The state confirmed 58 deaths due to the virus on Monday with the toll rising to 15,408.

Malappuram 1615, Kozhikode 1022, Thrissur 996, Ernakulam 921, Palakkad 846, Kollam 802, Thiruvananthapuram 700, Kannur 653, Kasaragod 646, Alappuzha 613, Kottayam 484, Wayanad 247, Pathanamthitta 239, Idukki 147.

89,654 samples were tested in the last 24 hours. The test positivity rate stands at 11.08.
