THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The 'A' and 'I' groups of Congress have joined hands against KC Venugopal. It is learnt that the two groups are preparing to file a complaint against KC Venugopal with the High Command. The groups are alleging that KC Venugopal was trying to form a third group in Congress. In a letter to the High Command, The two groups alleged that KC Venugopal was trying to take control of the Congress in Kerala by forming his own group.
At the same time, there are indications that the High Command is deeply dissatisfied with the intensification of group wars in Congress and the ongoing public responses made by the leaders. The High Command called on senior leaders of both groups to exercise restraint. The High Command has asked the KPCC leadership to speak to the leaders directly.
