Man in serious condition after bus rams into waiting shed succumbs to injuries

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A man who was in a serious condition after a KSRTC bus losing control rammed into a waiting shed at Cherumanch in Aryanad, succumbed to his injuries. He has been identified as Soman Nair (65) of Cherumanch. Five children were injured in the accident that happened this morning. The accident happened when Nair was waiting for the bus to go to the hospital.

The accident happened when the bus was taking a turn. The waiting shed has been completely destroyed in the accident. Eye witnesses said the bus was over speeded.

Vrinda (15), Mithun (14), Nithya (13), Gouri Nandana (18) and Vaishak (14) were those injured in the accident. The incident happened when they were waiting for the bus to go to school.
