Swapna Suresh to be released from jail soon; mother reaches jail and hands over documents to superintendent

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Swapna Suresh, who was granted bail in the gold smuggling case, will be released from jail soon. Her mother reached Attakulangara jail with the bail documents. She handed over the documents including the bail order and conditions to the jail superintendent.

Her bail conditions were submitted in the court Friday evening. She was earlier granted bail in six cases including gold smuggling. Swapna is being released from jail a year and three months after her arrest.

The Kerala High Court granted bail to Swapna in the NIA gold smuggling case on November 2. The documents including a bond of Rs 25 lakh and two sureties of equal amount were produced in the court.
