'10-year-old girl subjected to brutal sexual assault by mother's boyfriend'; mother threatens child not to tell it to anyone

GHAZIABAD: In a shocking incident, a 10-year-old girl was constantly subjected to sexual assault by her mother's boyfriend. The child left home after her mother brutally assaulted her telling her not to inform the matter to anyone. The girl's 13-year-old brother was also sexually assaulted by the mother's boyfriend.

The incident took place in Ghaziabad in Uttar Pradesh. The girl left home on January 20. After that she had been wandering in the streets, the police said. The child is currently under the protection of the Child Welfare Committee. It has been found in the medical examination that the child was subjected to sexual assault.

The children's father had died four years ago. After that, they had been living with their mother's parents. However, their mother took them to Ghaziabad last year. Later, the mother's boyfriend started to sexually assault the children. The boy had earlier left home once as he was unable to bear the torture.

The girl told the police that her mother had been working as a sex worker after the death of her father. She also said that her mother intends to force her to do this once she becomes an adult. The girl was constantly sexually assaulted by Delhi native Raju. The mother had not filed a complaint with the police even after the children left home. The child said that both the mother and her boyfriend used to threaten her not to tell anyone about the sexual assault by showing a sharp weapon.
The Loni Border police in Ghaziabad have arrested the child's mother and her boyfriend based on the child's statement.
