Brutal murder of RSS activist Sanjith: Police releases CCTV footage of car used by killer gang

PALAKKAD: Police have released CCTV footage of the car driven by the gang that killed RSS activist Sanjith in front of his wife in broad daylight in Palakkad. The footage of the old white model Maruti 800 car has been released. Black cooling film is pasted on the glass of the doors to prevent passengers from being identified. Anyone with further information about the car is requested to inform Palakkad DySP PC Haridas or Town South Inspector Shiju Abraham. Information can also be given by calling 9497990095 and 9497987146. The police collected the footage of the car driven by the accused by checking the CCTV footage of various places. A special team was also formed to investigate.

Sanjith was brutally murdered in front of his wife at around 9 am last Monday. After waiting for hours, the gang came hacked Sanjith who came on a bike with his wife. They then dragged his wife away and hacked Sanjith repeatedly to ensure death. There were 31 cuts on the body. Sanjith's wife Arshika had revealed to the media that there were five people in the killer group. The BJP alleges that the accused are from the SDPI. Police are still searching for the fugitives who fled to Tamil Nadu after the murder.
