Five more persons taken into custody in Shan murder case, arrests to be recorded today itself: ADGP Vijay Sakhare

ALAPPUZHA: ADGP Vijay Sakhare on Saturday said that five more persons were into custody in the Shan murder case. He said that all the five were directly involved in the murder and that their arrests will be recorded today itself.

"We have not been able to nab the key accused in the case. Those who planned the murder are also under investigation. The investigation can extend to anyone," he said. He also expressed confidence that the police will soon nab all the accused in the case.

Shan was hacked to death last Saturday night. He was attacked by the killer gang while he was returning to home.
