Balachandra Kumar identifies VIP’s photo? Police intensifies probe

KOCHI: There was one who lived in exile even after the names of the accused in the case of attacking the actress, were exposed. The investigating team and director Balachandra Kumar, who gave statement about him is being addressed as ‘VIP’. Although there were many speculations over the name, it is believed that the police have got clear hints about it.

This VIP was in the actor’s house on the day Kumar was also there for some film discussions. Dileep’s relative’s son was heard calling Sharat Uncle at that time. However, from the beginning, police suspected that he was not the VIP, Kumar may have mistaken in what he heard or that he is reluctant to say his name as he was a politically influential person.

This VIP had directly called a minister following Dileep’s directive to exempt DGP B Sandhya from the investigation in the case. The VIP was then heard saying in the phone that we will decide what to do in the case where the charge sheet has been filed.

While recording the secret statement of Kumar the other day, the police had showed him all the pictures of the people who were present in the actor’s house that day. It is believed that the probe team has got more hints about the VIP from that.
