Omicron reinfection is possible, warns experts

NEW DELHI: Body will produce antibodies against Covid after being infected once, but experts warns about the Omicron variant. Covid protocols must be strictly followed and masks must be used regularly.

No cases are reported in India of being infected with Omicron twice, but, the possibility cannot be ruled out, warns Shashank Joshi ,a member of the Maharashtra Covid Task Force. The genetically modified Omicron virus is more likely to attack the body's immune system.
