CM announcement; Deepa Dasmunsi to reach Kerala today, likely to hold talks with League

NEW DELHI: AICC General Secretary Deepa Dasmunsi, who is in charge of the state, will reach Kerala today. She boarded the flight which left from Delhi at 3:15 pm. Her visit to Kerala comes amid a delay in the announcement of the chief minister. There are hints that she is likely to hold talks with the Muslim League in Kerala. No further details have been released regarding this.

Along with Deepa Dasmunsi, KPCC working presidents Shafi Parambil, A P Anil Kumar and P C Vishnunath, who are in Delhi, will also return to Kerala. They are expected to reach Thiruvananthapuram by 6:30 pm.

Meantime, reports say all other discussions regarding the chief minister have been completed. The new chief minister of Kerala will be announced in Thiruvananthapuram. Meanwhile, KPCC President Sunny Joseph had responded that all discussions have been completed and the chief minister will be announced today. A meeting between Rahul and Kharge will be held at 5.30 pm today. The chief minister will be announced after that.
