CHANDIGARH: The new Chief Minister of Punjab Bhagwant Singh Mann has shocked everyone with a crucial decision soon after coming to power. The decision was to launch a helpline for citizens to report corruption-related issues. He made the announcement on Twitter the day after he was sworn in as the seventeenth Chief Minister of Punjab.

The anti-corruption helpline will be launched on March 23, the day of the martyrdom of freedom fighter Bhagat Singh. He also said on Twitter that this would be his personal WhatsApp number. "If anyone asks for a bribe, record their video or audio clip and send it to me at this helpline number. Strict action will be taken against them if found guilty. There is no place for corruption in Punjab," he wrote on Twitter.
