KOCHI: A vital voice clip produced in the court by the investigation team in the case of attacking the actress, has surfaced. The conversation between Dileep's brother Anoop and the lawyer has come out now.

Anoop is the prosecution witness in the case. Anoop’s lawyer telling him what has to be said during the trial is in the voice clip.

The lawyer asks Anoop to say that the actor’s former wife Manju Warrier drinks liquor. Anoop said that he doesn’t know and has not seen her drinking when the lawyer asked him whether she consumes liquor.

However, the lawyer asked Anoop to give statement that Manju consumes liquor. The lawyer asked to say that Dileep has not been drinking for the last ten years.

'Should say that Manju started consuming liquor before leaving home. Should say that Manju had come home drunk many times. Everyone at home knows about it. Talked to Chettan about it. Chettan said that he will look into it and did not say anything else. Should say that there was no dispute between Chettan and his wife before us in this regard. Should say that Chettan has not been drinking for more than ten years', lawyer tells Anoop.

The clip also has the lawyer telling Anoop the statements needed to emphasize that Dileep was admitted in the hospital on the day the actress was attacked.

Dileep had a fever, throat pain and cough on the day the incident happened. Whenever possible would go to the hospital to see Dileep. The lawyer told Anoop that if more questions are asked, should say that the question has not been understood and not to mind the rest.

The lawyer also demanded Anoop to give statement that Dileep has foes. Should say that Srikumar Menon and Liberty Basheer are enemies. Should say that Menon and Manju Warrier were in a relationship. There were constant fights between Dileep and Manju Warrier in the name of her dance programmes. The lawyer is heard demanding to say that a fight broke out over a dance programme held in Guruvayur.

Meantime, the high court had rejected Dileep's demand that the probe into the murder conspiracy case against him be quashed. The high court said the probe can continue. The verdict was pronounced by a bench of Justice Siyad Rahman.

Dileep is the first accused in the case. His brother Anoop, brother-in-law T N Suraj, relative Appu, friend Baiju Chengamanad, Sarath, hotel owner in Aluva and cyber expert Sai Sankar are the other accused in the case.

The high court is not ready to hand over the case to the CBI. Dileep had argued in the court that if the case is not dismissed, should hand over the case to the CBI. The probe team had submitted the progress report in the Aluva Magistrate Court on the possibility of leaving the case to the CBI.
