Two killed after KSRTC Swift bus hits car

ALAPPUZHA: Two people were killed after a KSRTC Swift bus hits car. The dead have been identified as Shinoj (25) of Ezhupunna and Vishnu (26) of Pallippuram. The incident happened late last night near the Mulakuzha Village Office.

The Swift bus proceeding to Sulthan Bathery collided with the car. Five passengers of the bus sustained injuries. The condition of none is serious. The car has been completely damaged.

Shinoj and Vishnu were proceeding to Thiruvananthapuram from Cherthala. The locals, police and the fire force jointly rescued the two trapped inside the car. Though they were taken to the hospital, their lives could not be saved.
