Theft at former minister Shibu Baby John’s house, enters house after breaking main door, loses 50 sovereigns

KOLLAM: There was a theft at the house of former minister and RSP leader Shibu Baby John. Police said nearly 50 sovereigns were lost. The theft was at the family house of Shibu Baby John in Kollam.

The thieves entered the house after breaking the main door. The police have started an investigation.

A team led by Kollam ACP is investigating the case. The investigation will focus on the burglars who ususally open the door of the house and commit robbery. The family came to know about the theft of the gold jewellery this morning.

Usually no one will be at home in the night. Shibu Baby John’s mother comes here in the morning. She will return to her son’s house at night. Among the stolen items include Shibu Baby John’s wife’s mangalsutra.
