Sreejith Ravi gets bail in case of exhibiting nudity, if stays in jail for more days will affect mental condition

KOCHI: Actor Sreejith Ravi has been granted bail in the case of exhibiting nudity before girls. The court granted him bail after accepting his claim that he is under treatment for mental disorder and on the condition that his wife and father should give an affidavit in court.

The affidavit showing that necessary treatment will be provided to prevent the recurrence of such crimes should be given. The court warned that the bail granted would be cancelled if the same crime is repeated.

The actor claimed that he was undergoing treatment for mental disorder since 2016. His lawyer told the court that if he stays in jail for more days, it will affect the actor’s mental condition and that he will cooperate with the police.

The actor approached the high court after the Thrissur Sessions Court rejected his bail plea. The incident happened on July 4 at Ayyanthole in Thrissur. The actor stopped his car near S N Park in Ayyanthole and exhibited nudity in front of two girls.
