2298 files disposed of in Vigilance as part of file settlement yajna

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: As part of file settlement yajna, all officials were present at the vigilance offices of the state on yesterday although it was a holiday. Also all the officers of the Vigilance Directorate participated in the yajna.

The files which were settled includes 1715 files in Vigilance Headquarters, 203 files under Vigilance South Region, 39 files under Vigilance East Region, 83 files under Vigilance Central Region, 130 files under Vigilance North Region, 11 files under Special Investigation Unit-1, 62 files under Special Investigation Unit-2, 32 files under Special Cell Thiruvananthapuram and 23 files under Special Cell Kozhikode. A total of 2298 cases have been settled under vigilance department across the state.

Vigilance Director Manoj Abraham, IG H Venkatesh, Superintendent of Police (Intelligence) E.S. Bijumon, DYSP C Vinod and Manager Suresh Babu led the yajna. 5768 files were settled in water authority as part of the yajna.
