Teacher suspended after video of student massaging her in classroom goes viral

LUCKNOW: A primary school teacher has been suspended after a video of her receiving a massage from one of her students went viral. The incident took place earlier this week at Pokhari Government Primary School in Hardoi, Uttar Pradesh.

The video shows the teacher sitting on a chair while the student gives her a massage in the classroom. Other children are seen just walking around the class and the teacher is angry with them. It is unclear who shot the video.

The suspended teacher named Urmila Singh works as an assistant teacher at Pokhari Primary School. After the footage came out, the Basic Shiksha Adhikari (BSA) VP Singh asked the block education officer to inquire into the incident and submit a proper report. After this, necessary action will be taken, he said.
