College student found dead in flat in Kondotty

KOTHAMANGALAM: A college student hailing from Kothamangalam was found dead in a flat in Kondotty on Saturday. The deceased is Vasudev Reji (20), a third-year BCom Computer Application student of the EMEA College of Arts and Science, Kondotty.

Vasudev had been living with a friend named Iqbal in a flat at Melangadi in Kondotty. Iqbal is a student at another college in Kondotty. Iqbal was not in the flat on Friday. Vasudev was found dead in the room when Iqbal reached the flat on Saturday morning.

The Kondotty Police have registered a case of unnatural death and launched an investigation into the incident. The preliminary conclusion is that Vasudev committed suicide.
