Women falls into canal due to force of speeding train's wind, one dead

THRISSUR: A woman fell into a canal and died after being hit by the wind of a speeding train while they walking on the railway track. Devi Krishna (28), a native of VR Puram, has been identified as the deceased. Fawzia (35), who was with Devi, was rescued by the locals.

The incident took place in VR Puram in Chalakudy. The accident occurred while walking on the railway track due to water on the road. Seeing the train coming, both stood off the track. While the train was going, they were hit by its wind and fell into the river. Devi Krishna was seriously injured. Fauzia fell into the water and was rescued.
