THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A temporary relief for KSRTC diesel crisis. The Finance minister's office informed that Rs 20 crore has been sanctioned. The money will reach KSRTC's account by Wednesday. But concern over fuel needed till Wednesday continues. KSRTC currently owes Rs 123 crore to oil companies. As the crisis continues, Indian Oil Corporation reiterated that it could not supply diesel to KSRTC at market prices.
Meanwhile, as the diesel crisis continued to second day, not only ordinary services but long-distance services were also affected. Some services from Thiruvananthapuram to Thrissur and Kozhikode were also suspended. The crisis is expected to continue till Wednesday. The opposition leader blamed the government for the crisis.
