POCSO case victim abused again, 15-year-old girl delivers in home

KOLLAM: A 15-year-old girl, who was sexually abused, delivered a baby girl in her own house. The incident happened at Kulathupuzha in Kollam. Her family had tried to hide the incident from others.

After the delivery, the girl’s mother reached Punalur Taluk Hospital with the baby. She told the hospital authorities that she delivered the baby. An examination conducted following a suspicion, understood that it was not she who delivered the baby.

When questioned her in detail, she told them that her daughter delivered the baby. She was first abused in 2016. The police did not know that she was sexually abused a second time.
